Here's a live solo version of "Drop these Blues" from October 2008 at an open mic in Boston. There's something exciting and liberating about playing for complete strangers away from home. I think that fostered a unique patience, intensity, and comfort to this performance - Apparently I was so comfortable that I slipped a quick joke in right before the bridge of the tune, saying:

"Take me to the bridge - that's what all the soul singers sing..."
