The Kenton Dunson Progressions

I'm honored and excited to lend some guitar licks and some BGVs for the live album release show of the Kenton Dunson Progressions on June 3rd @ The 8 x 10 in Baltimore, MD.

Kenton's CD is stellar - truly representative of a man rocking a mission and showcasing his craft - The backing band he recruited for the show is just nasty - I'm sure I'm speaking for all of us (Dave, Brandon, Roh, Adam, and Cory) when I say thanks for having us on board for this part of your musical journey.

Here's a live solo version of "Drop these Blues" from October 2008 at an open mic in Boston. There's something exciting and liberating about playing for complete strangers away from home. I think that fostered a unique patience, intensity, and comfort to this performance - Apparently I was so comfortable that I slipped a quick joke in right before the bridge of the tune, saying:

"Take me to the bridge - that's what all the soul singers sing..."
